The Romeo Historical Society was founded in 1961 and is dedicated to the preservation, education and history of the Village of Romeo, Michigan.

The purpose of our society is to preserve, document and promote interest in the heritage of the Village of Romeo and its surroundings. The RHS operates two museums, an archive building, and holds several events each year.

Barn tour Saturday September 16. tickets go on sale August 15 at Two Romeo Girls 227 N. Main 10-5 Mon-Sun ,Connelly's Creations 175 S. Main 10-5 Thurs-Sat, and the Romeo Historical Society 290 N. Main Tuesdays from 7-9pm . Tickets are $12.00 in advance or $15.00 the day of the tour cash or check only.


William Woodruff Gibbs Exposition at Starkweather Art Center 219 N. Main July 28- August 19 curated by The Romeo Historical Society, come view the works of Romeo's "Prince of Painters". Starkweather Art Center is open 10-4 Thurs.-Sat.
